(KMM), Middlesex County’s nonprofit 501(c)(3) transportation management association (TMA), is seeking an enthusiastic self-starter for a full-time Program Coordinator. The Program Coordinator will partner with municipalities, employers, and other organizations in Middlesex County, NJ to plan, develop, and implement projects and activities that enhance the quality of life in Middlesex County by reducing traffic congestion, improving air quality, and boosting bicycle and pedestrian access/safety for all residents.\nKey Responsibilities:\nManage and administer KMM’s commuter programs, including Emergency Ride Home and the vanpool sponsorship program for NJ TRANSIT.\nDevelop, plan, and implement unique events and campaigns aimed at promoting commuter options and sustainable transportation.\nRespond to inquiries and provide positive customer service to commuter program participants.\nConduct outreach and education related to safety topics, including teen distracted driving, older adult, child passenger safety, and bicycle/pedestrian education.\nParticipate in public outreach activities with other agencies, including events, fairs, and other initiatives in Middlesex County.\nPlan, develop, and implement seminars, workshops, and other in-person events and meetings as requested.\nRepresent KMM in local, county, and regional stakeholder meetings, as required.\nSupport grant management duties with monthly and quarterly progress reports.\nOther duties as assigned by the Program Manager and Executive Director.\nQualifications:\nBachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of education/experience.\nCreative thinking and problem-solving skills.\nStrong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.\nAbility to effectively prepare and present information to diverse groups of people, including students, employers, community members, and elected officials.\nExcellent written and verbal communication.\nData analysis skills and the ability to translate data into uncomplicated terms.\nAbility to work independently and as part of a team.\nAbility to achieve specific and measurable grant-related performance outcomes.\nSome evenings and weekends as required.\nOther Requirements:\nValid driver’s license and reliable vehicle; willingness and ability to drive within Middlesex County and transport equipment/event materials.\nAbility and willingness to lift 25 lbs.
