The PM will oversee the PFAS Program on the scale of coordinating between materials engineering, design, supply chain, and other cross functional groups. Further, the PM will establish a natural governance model for all the projects in the program, ensure compliance with requirements, maintain project management industry knowledge, and promote the development of project leaders & engineers through coaching and mentoring.\nJob Description\nRoles and Responsibilities\nDevelop, document, and implement a standard process, team, and tool for program management on the PFAS Program leveraging PMO standards.\nRequires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise within the project, program, and portfolio management discipline.\nProvide program updates on a consistent basis to various stakeholders about strategy, adjustments, and progress in terms of performance to meet business objectives and project/program KPIs.\nLead projects from requirements definition through deployment, identifying schedules, scopes, budget estimations, and implementation plans, including risk mitigation.\nAssists with creating and maintaining project plans by properly breaking down the work, sequencing the activities, integrating the schedules, and using techniques such as critical path method (CPM).\nAbility to influence cross functionally to help achieve successful project outcomes.\nRegularly advises management in the function and/or in the business. Has a supportive role in decision making about important subjects pertaining to project, program, and portfolio mgmt. High levels of evaluative judgment are required to achieve outcomes required.\nUses judgment to make decisions and manage complex tasks or problems that impact the function. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders. Able to offer innovative solutions to problems outside of set parameters and provide recommendations.\nTeam accountability for timeliness, quality, availability, and yield.\nLead lean transformation efforts to eliminate waste, improve transparency, establish standard work, and enhance the value the team brings to the business.\nMay lead functional teams or projects with moderate resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Present business or technical discipline solutions to leaders. Communicate complex messages and negotiate with others to adopt a different point of view. Influence peers to take action and may negotiate with external partners, vendors, or customers.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited university or college\nMinimum of 10 years of experience with Program and Project Management.\nThe ability to obtain an US Government Clearance.\nDesired Characteristics\nExperience managing Engineering and/or Supply Chain projects.\nPMP Certification.\nLead initiatives of moderate scope and impact.\nStrong oral and written communication skills.\nStrong interpersonal and leadership skills.\nDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems.\nDemonstrated ability to lead programs / projects.\nDemonstrated ability to people lead and provide strategic direction.\nAbility to document, plan, market, and execute programs.\nEstablished portfolio / program / project risk management skills.\nThis role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
