Assists sort/count workstations as needed. Transfers soil linen slings/carts to the washroom or clean linen slings/carts to Flatwork area. May clean empty carts, and perform other tasks as needed.\nEssential Functions:\nLift and load bags of soiled linen onto rail/conveyor systems.\nTransfer slings/bags/carts to other departments.\nAssist sort/count workstations as needed.\nMeet efficiency and safety standards for the position.\nFollow instructions as directed by supervision.\nAdditional Functions:\nClean carts/bins as needed.\nKeep the work area clean.\nWork in other production positions as needed.\nQualifications:\nRecognize colors and sizes and count accurately.\nMeet the physical requirements of the job.\nRecognize colors, sizes, and different products.\nComprehend and follow directions.\nTypical Physical Activity:\nPhysical Demands consist of standing, walking, reaching overhead, pushing, pulling, grasping, constantly lifting up to 100 lbs., seeing, hearing, and stooping.\nPhysical Requirements consist of being able to meet the physical demands for the entire shift.\nTypical Environmental Conditions:\nProduction areas of a typical industrial laundry facility, which include variations in temperature, odors, humidity, lint, and dust.
