Throughout this work, they ensure all cylinders meet approved drawings, regulatory standards, and AIS quality procedures, while consistently following safety rules. Major Duties & Responsibilities Inspection -70% Perform external visual inspection of incoming material to identify defects, ensuring shells are free of injurious conditions and that non-conforming material is rejected and dispositioned per AIS procedures. Verify cylinder wall thickness using calibrated measuring equipment (e.g., calipers, micrometers, ultrasonic devices) to confirm compliance with minimum thickness requirements on approved design drawings. Inspect and verify lot numbers are correctly applied, legible, and provide full traceability to starting material stock throughout the manufacturing process. Conduct thread inspections using visual methods and appropriate gauges to confirm proper thread form, minimum thread count, cleanliness, and engagement to support leak-free valve installation. Verify dimensions, and cylinder conditions during final inspection, ensuring all characteristics meet approved design tolerances. Documentation -30% Review and complete required inspection documentation, ensuring accuracy, legibility, and proper filing to demonstrate regulatory and client compliance. Inspection forms, reports, and records must be prepared and retained in accordance with QAD 100 sections on document control, reports, and records.
