The role involves the successful development and implementation of the InsuranceNow cloud-based solution, requiring both functional and technical expertise to customize, configure, and test the application.Responsibilities:• Provide technical support and effort estimates related to Guidewire InsuranceNow configuration development assignments.• Propose solutions to improve business unit productivity and/or business results.• Design configuration solutions that are in line with business needs and requirements.• Modify existing typelists and/or create new typelists.Qualifications:Required:• 5+ years of Java experience• Previous experience with InsuranceNow• Experience with microservices architecture and containers• Object-Oriented Design using SOLID and Hexagonal design principles• Experience working with Open Source frameworks such as Spring, Hibernate, JBPM, and others• Strong understanding of relational database persistence (e.g. MySQL, Oracle).
