Instead, this role leads Superintendents, coordinates phased deployments, and acts as the primary technical and strategic interface between field execution teams, clients, subcontractors, and internal leadership.\nThis role blends deep technical expertise, project leadership, and client-facing communication, making it critical—and difficult to backfill. depending on project phase\nMust be US-based and available for evenings and weekends as required\n\nKey Responsibilities\nTechnical Leadership & Project Oversight\nLead and manage Cabling Superintendents across multiple concurrent data center projects\nProvide senior technical oversight without performing hands-on installs\nServe as the escalation point for complex technical, sequencing, or site issues\nEnsure alignment between design intent and field execution\nDesign, Planning & Readiness\nSupport pre-installation design review, planning, and scoping\nConduct site readiness assessments and feasibility reviews\nInterpret and validate:\nData center architectures\nCabling designs and layouts\nInstallation schedules and phasing plans\nIdentify risks, constraints, and dependencies early and drive mitigation plans\nExecution Management\nCoordinate phased deployments lasting from days to months\nGuide execution across multiple sites and teams simultaneously\nWork alongside Project Management and service teams to:\nEngage subcontractors\nAlign schedules and service windows\nEnsure consistent delivery standards\nEscalate risks appropriately and support remediation efforts\nClient & Stakeholder Engagement\nServe as the primary technical liaison to:\nClients\nElectrical teams\nInternal leadership\nCommunicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders\nBuild trust through technical credibility, transparency, and consistency\nProcess, Documentation & Mentorship\nDevelop and define:\nInstallation standards\nTesting procedures\nMethods of Procedure (MOPs)\nProvide project documentation for on-site and remote teams\nMentor and support other Technical Project Leads and Superintendents\nHelp shape best practices and technical project leadership\nStrong background in data center architecture and deployments\nExperience managing large-scale cabling and infrastructure projects\nDeep understanding of:\nSpine-leaf network architectures\nRack-and-stack server deployments\nHigh-density and AI-focused data center environments\nAbility to lead without being hands-on, guiding execution through Superintendents\nExperience managing multi-phase, multi-site projects\nStrong understanding of:\nServices engagements\nThird-party subcontractor management\nPricing, coordination, and
