Reports to: Executive Leader Cooperates with: All Departments Primary Responsibility: The Vice President of Technology will lead our technology initiatives and drive innovation on a global scale. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of our global technology strategy, ensuring alignment with our business goals and technologies utilized within the organization, and fostering a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities: Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute the company’s technology strategy in alignment with business objectives. Identify and evaluate emerging technologies to enhance product offerings and operational efficiency. Team Management: Lead and mentor a diverse team of technology professionals, including but not limited to our Catalyzer and ERP divisions, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence. Oversee recruitment, development, and retention of top technology talent. Technology Development: Oversee the design and development of technology solutions, ensuring they meet customer needs and comply with industry standards. Manage the software development lifecycle, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality products. Collaboration: Work closely with other departments (e.g., Product, Marketing, Sales) to align technology initiatives with overall business strategy. Act as a key liaison with stakeholders to communicate technology-related initiatives and results. Budget Management: Develop and manage the technology budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources. Monitor and report on technology expenditures and ROI. Risk Management: Identify potential technology risks and develop mitigation strategies. Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred. Proven experience as a CTO or in a similar leadership role within the technology sector. Strong understanding of technology trends, software development methodologies, and infrastructure management. Experience in managing large-scale technology projects and cross-functional teams. Excellent strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
