Qualified candidates must have the skills and experience in the safe lifting and movement of large, heavy, unbalanced structures such as long heavy steel pipes and large metal equipment. This position requires a skilled, certified forklift operator that has experience working outdoors and moving large, heavy, awkward materials. Other primary responsibilities include warehouse, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping operations.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities\nSafely load, unload, move, stack, and organize pipe, tubing, structural steel, and other large, heavy metal products.\nOperate forklifts other material handling equipment.\nExperience with a CombiLift multidirectional forklift with a sideload option.\nPull and stage customer orders accurately according to work orders and shipping schedules.\nVerify incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and report discrepancies.\nAssist with inventory counts, stock rotation, and material tracking.\nInspect materials for damage and ensure proper storage procedures are followed.\nMaintain clean, organized, and safe yard and warehouse conditions.\nFollow all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations.\nPerform routine equipment inspections and report maintenance needs.\nAssist with general warehouse and yard duties as assigned.\n\nQualifications\nHigh school diploma or equivalent required.\nPrevious Industrial experience in a steel stock yard, service center, or metal distribution facility is preferred.\nExperience handling large metal products such as pipe, tubing, structural steel, or plate material is highly desirable.\n3-5 years certified Forklift experience required\nAbility to read work orders, shipping documents, and inventory records.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.\nMust have ability work independently and with the warehouse team.\n\nPhysical Requirements\nFrequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds; heavier materials moved using mechanical equipment.\nAbility to stand, walk, bend, climb, and work outdoors for extended periods.\nAbility to work in varying weather conditions, including heat, cold, rain, and humidity.\nAbility to safely operate industrial equipment and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).\n\nWork Environment\nOutdoor stockyard and warehouse setting.
