CDIS, Inc. offers a competitive compensation and benefits package, commensurate with experience, which includes: medical, dental, 401(k), PTO (Paid Time Off).\nThe Structured Cabling Installation Supervisor position is directly responsible for the professional installation, training, demonstrating and servicing of the work throughout the Tidewater, VA area. Technical knowledge and certification is required in the areas of structured cabling, (voice, data, fiber optics, wireless) CCTV, access control and intrusion detections cabling. Professional communication and service provided to all internal and external customers, proactively ensuring a quality installation within the specifications and parameters established between the customer and CDIS, Inc. Building positive customer relationships and always representing CDIS, Inc. with integrity, and professionalism is required.\nRequirements:\nMinimum of 15 years’ experience in structured cabling (voice, data, fiber optics, wireless) , CCTV, Access Control and Intrusion Detections cabling preferred.\nExperience in terminating with various connector types, fusion splicing, and testing of fiber optics in both ISP & OSP arenas\nBICSI Installer / Technician certification in good standings required.\nProficient knowledge of EXCEL, Word, Visio\nExcellent interpersonal and oral communications skills\nKnowledge of communications industry including voice, data, video and security.\nThe ability to work well in a dynamic, fast-changing environment, which requires a high degree of multi-tasking with minimal supervision.\nMust have a valid driver’s license and good driving record required.\nAbility to obtain and pass DOD back ground check\nAbility to posses or obtain DCJS certification\nStructured cabling: 15 years Experience\nMinimum of two of the below manufacturer installer certifications in good standing required:\nSiemon\nOrtronics\nPanduit\nHellerman Tyton\nMOLEX\nUniprise\nCorning\nPlease email your current resume along with a cover letter stating your salary requirements.
