If you’re interested in joining a dynamic work environment that offers opportunities to reach your full potential, we want to hear from you.\n\nJob Title: Machine Operator - 2nd Shift Position 3:00pm to 11:30pm (Training on 1st Shift)\n\nDepartment: Operations\n\nPosition Overview: Set-up, adjust and operate production machinery to draw wire and strand rope of various metal alloys and diameters.\n\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities:\n\nOperate drawing and stranding machinery to produce quality product according to specific “Work Instructions”. Duties include but are not limited to the following:\nRead work orders/bill of materials to determine product specifications\nResponsible for quantity and quality to meet efficiency rates\nUse various types of equipment and machinery\nMaintain machinery during operation\nAdjust machinery including changing dies\nReporting/communicating machinery issues to supervisor/maintenance\nInspect products to ensure product excellence and quality using measuring tools (tape measure/micrometer/tensile test machine)\nObtain all required approvals\nLabel packages\nUse of forklift and cranes to load/unload machine and to move material to and from machines.\nRecord and document all downtime\nEnsure and observe all safety and housekeeping rules and guidelines, including carrying out daily safety inspections\nParticipate in all assigned training, including monthly health and safety sessions\nOperate forklifts safely\nOther duties as assigned\nPosition Requirements:\n\nHigh school graduate or equivalent required\nAbility to communicate – verbal and written\nAbility to perform basic math functions with accuracy\nForklift license preferred\nBasic computer skills for data entry purposes\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs\nBenefits:\n\nHealth insurance\nDental insurance\nVision Insurance\nLife insurance\n401(k)\n401(k) matching\nPaid time off\nEmployee assistance program\nReferral program\nTuition reimbursement\nShift: 8-hour shift\nWork Location: In person, Company does not provide relocation assistance.\nCentral Wire Group of Companies is proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity employer.
