RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop and implement quality standards for new product development.
Design and implement quality control systems.
Monitor and analyze quality performance.
Inspect and test materials, equipment, processes, and products to ensure quality specifications are met.
Collaborate with operations managers to develop and implement controls and improvements.
Ensure workflows, processes, and products comply with safety regulations.
Investigate and troubleshoot product or production issues.
Develop corrective actions, solutions, and improvements.
Review codes, specifications, and processes for SQF/ISO requirements compliance.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor’s Degree in Quality, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
3-5 years of experience in quality engineering for the Plastics Industry.
Experience in the plastics industry required
. • ASQ certification preferred.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent project management skills.
DAY TO DAY
Perform quality assurance tasks in the lab for 90% of the time.
Coordinate with the NPD team for quality control setup and maintenance.
Maintain quality records and ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
Report directly to the Vice President of R&D and NPD TEAM
Work under the mentorship of Julie, the current NPD QE, with the potential to grow into a management role over time.
Physical Demands
Able to stand for prolonged periods in hot environments.
Regularly required to talk and hear.
Must have good vision and manual dexterity.
Ability to lift 50 pounds.
Ability to walk, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, twist, perform repetitive motions, see variations in color, climb, and work from ladders.

Pay: $90,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
