We are looking to hire a motivated, energetic store management team prior to store opening. The ideal management team would empower, develop, motivate, and work alongside the store team to drive results through delivering an elevated client experience.ResponsibilitiesThe Assistant Store Manager will share the responsibility for the overall performance of the store and assists store management with generating sales potential, recruiting and developing staff, maintaining store appearance, and controlling expenses and shortages.People ManagementWork with floor supervisor to train and communicate current product knowledge to all associates to ensure the team is fully educated on the brand and seasonal strategy by partnering with the appropriate internal DTC teams for product supportAssist with store manager in recruiting, hiring, onboarding, and retaining best in class talentContribute to a positive atmosphere that is fun, professional, productive, and team oriented providing clear feedback and regular coaching.Assist with the store manager payroll, scheduling, and time and attendanceSales DutiesPreparation and execution of any events in the store in partnership with management and marketingKnowledge and improvement of key KPI’s for storeResponsible for knowing clientele and improving customer retentionEnsure that client information is entered properly and that client records are accurately maintainedWork with the management team to regularly update staff on business performance, and new initiativesOperational DutiesMonitor stock inventory levels and communicate stock needs to management\Ensure the stylist team is taking actions to maintain an excellent level of cleanliness, facilities, and store maintenanceReceive, check in, and distribute stock that arrivesEnsure safe and secure storage of all data, in particular client and staff data held in storeWork with store manager to analyzes results, identifies opportunities, and assist inmaking decisions in collaboration with the leadership team to drive key performanceindicators (KPIs).Customer ServiceEnsure that stylists are maintaining excellent customer service standardsUnderstand piercing healing times, positioning and fitting, ensuring that advice is taken from piercing team as well as understood and communicated by selling teamResponsible for resolving escalated customer service issuesBe a representative of Maria Tash in and out of the store and provide a high level of customer service as a managerAccurately process all POS transactions, capture of customer information, and inventoryfunctions such as receiving of shipment, transfers, repairs, damages, etc to maintain the integrity of the inventory.Skills & Qualifications2+ years of retail management experience (luxury a plus)Ability to be solution focusedAn understanding of clientelingStrong written and verbal communication skillsCreates an inclusive environmentAbility to maneuver around the sales floor, stock roomsAbility to stand, move and walk for multiple hoursAbility to work a flexible schedule to meet the needs of the business,Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with customers, management, and co-workersLifts up to 30 pounds and moderate climbing required
