*Must be in person, in Dallas, TX June - July*Building the Systems Behind the BrandThe Visual Merchandising Intern will own a defined set of projects that shape how St. Bernard shows up in every store, from the supplies that live in storage to the signage and testers customers interact with on the floor. This is a hands-on internship for someone who loves both the design side (Displays, signage, styling mannequins) and the operational side (counts, systems, organization).Merchandising Storage & SuppliesOrganize merchandising storage from the ground up: sort, label, and catalog every fixture, sign, prop, and display elementAudit and count all existing fixtures in storage and build a clear, repeatable way to store this information for the teamEnsure every merchandising supply is uploaded to the supplies website so stores can request what they needMaintain a process for cataloging new supplies as they come inBrand Signage & Print CollateralCreate brand signage & in-store messaging across categories — in Adobe Illustrator & CricutMaintain a signage archive and a version-control approach so stores always have the latest assetsDisplay Testers & In-Store ProgramsCreate display testers for candles and diffusers that protect inventory while inviting customers to experience the productDesign and roll out a system for tester upkeep, refills, and replacements across every St. Bernard locationDocument the tester program in a way store teams can follow without back-and-forthWarehouse Sale PreparationAssist with the prep and organization of the warehouse sale from the back end through opening dayCategorize and sort apparel so the floor is shoppable and on-brand even at sale pricingPrice items accurately and consistently across categoriesList select items on Facebook Marketplace and other resale channels, including photography and copyFloor Planning & Store ExecutionTranslate visual merchandising plans into reality on the sales floor through accurate floor maps, attentive store visits, and close partnership with the Visual Merchandising Manager.Floor Maps & Store TotalsKeep store floor maps current — updating to reflect fixture layout and seasonal changesPartner with the Visual Merchandising Manager on store floor totals by style to support healthy stock levels and presentationStore Visits & Quality ControlMake regular store visits to confirm signage and testers are correctly installed, stocked, and maintainedFlag gaps between intended execution and on-the-floor reality, and partner with the team to close themCapture install photography and store-condition documentation to inform future visual merchandising decisionsLEARNING OUTCOMESPerformance and growth will be evaluated against the following project milestones:Fully organized merchandising storage with every supply uploaded to the supplies websiteDocumented fixture inventory with a system the team can maintain after the internship endsCandle and diffuser tester program designed, deployed, and documented across storesUpdated Illustrator-designed floor maps and a portfolio of brand signageWarehouse sale prepped, categorized, priced, and partially listed on Marketplace ahead of openingFinal end-of-internship presentation summarizing work, learnings, and recommendationsMid-Internship Check-in:Progress on storage organization & supplies website uploadsTester program rollout planSignage portfolio & updated floor mapsSelf-assessment of skills developed to dateQUALIFICATIONSCurrently pursuing a degree in Visual Merchandising, Fashion Marketing, Graphic Design, Retail, or a related fieldAdobe Illustrator experience required — comfortable building print-ready files, working with type, grids, and brand systemsStrong eye for composition, color, and brand consistencyHighly organized — genuinely enjoys cataloging, labeling, and building systems that outlast youComfortable in a hands-on retail environment — able to lift up to 30 lbs and be on feet for extended periodsAvailable to travel to St. Bernard store locations for visits and installsSelf-directed with strong follow-through — someone who can take a project from concept to rollout
