We’re hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift and offer shift differential pay.\n\nWhy you’ll thrive here\n\nHands-on impact: Run batching, mixing, and materials handling that directly affects quality.\n\nStability + growth: Cross-train across stations, learn Lean methods, and expand into forklift operation.\n\nStrong rewards: Competitive hourly pay, paid vacation/holidays, uniforms and PPE provided, biweekly pay, insurance, and a 401(k) with company match.\n\nWhat you’ll do\n\nRead work orders/formulas to determine materials, sequence, and process steps.\n\nWeigh ingredients precisely, adjust to target weights, and charge vessels in order.\n\nStart and observe machines, stop for issues, and alert the supervisor to malfunctions.\n\nLog batch time/temperature and maintain accurate records (weights, product type, dates, batch numbers).\n\nTransfer staged materials to production/storage and keep perpetual inventory current with drum markings and scans.\n\nInspect materials, in-process product, and containers at each step.\n\nCross-train across the production line; clean area, tools, machines, and equipment; perform other duties as needed.\n\nWhat you bring\n\nSafety-first mindset; consistent PPE use and adherence to procedures.\n\nEnglish communication adequate to read, write, and speak on the job.\n\nWillingness to learn scan gun use for inventory control.Ability to lift 55 lb bags repeatedly and stand/walk/bend/ascend stairs throughout an 8-hour shift; available for any shift.\n\nBasic arithmetic skills.\n\nComfort working in a hot, dusty, non-climate-controlled environment.\n\nReliable transportation and dependable attendance.\n\nOngoing safety training participation; interest in Lean Manufacturing.\n\nDesire to learn safe forklift operation.\n\nHigh school diploma or GED.\n\nOpen shifts\n2nd and 3rd shift roles in the Hotmelt department with shift differential pay.\n\nLegal\nAll applicants must successfully pass an interview, background check, and drug & alcohol screenings.\n\nIFS INDUSTRIES is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
