Job Description Job Title: HR Compliance Specialist (Global Compliance)Payrate: $40 - $50/hrLocation: Santa Clara, CADuration: 12-month assignmentSummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented HR Compliance Specialist to support global compliance programs across both U.S. and international operations. This role plays a critical part in ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements, including HR compliance and deemed export control processes.The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, communicates clearly and confidently, and brings a strong ability to manage complex compliance workflows with accuracy and discretion. You will collaborate cross-functionally with HR, Legal, and external partners to maintain compliance standards and drive operational excellence.What You'll DoProcess deemed export compliance activities, including reviewing documentation for completeness and accuracy, identifying discrepancies, and resolving issues with internal stakeholdersSupport additional HR compliance programs such as background checks and global right-to-work processesPartner with internal teams and external vendors to gather data and support export license requests, ensuring timely and accurate submissionsCollaborate with Legal, HR, and external partners to interpret and meet regulatory and government requirementsDevelop and maintain internal guidelines, policies, and communications for compliance programsCoordinate and manage reporting processes in alignment with compliance requirements and deadlinesTrack and manage government contract clearances and maintain accurate compliance recordsStay current on global regulatory requirements and compliance standardsHandle sensitive information with a high level of confidentiality and professionalismWhat You Bring4–5 years of experience in HR, compliance, or a related fieldBachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experienceStrong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time management skillsStrong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage effectively across all levelsProven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in fast-paced environmentsExperience collaborating cross-functionally with internal teams and external partnersAbility to analyze and resolve compliance-related issues with accuracy and efficiencyBonus Points If You HaveKnowledge of data privacy regulations and export control requirementsExperience supporting global compliance programs across multiple regionsExperience working with government-related compliance processesTCWGlobal is an equal opportunity employer.
