Reasonable adjustments during the recruitment process are available upon request. The roleWe are seeking a versatile, curious, and process-oriented Systems & Automation Specialist to lead the continuous enhancement of our technical systems. This is a non-traditional role that combines elements of software development, business analysis, and product management. You will be responsible for automating our internal workflows, ensuring data integrity, and optimizing the user experience for both our sellers and customers.Key responsibilitiesProcess automation & optimization: Identify opportunities to streamline business operations and build automated workflows to reduce manual tasks.System maintenance: Lead the setup and ongoing maintenance of apps, plug-ins, and marketplace integrations alongside architecture of business applications.Product development collaboration: Partner with the leadership team to develop user stories and technical requirements for new features.Design & coding: Implement UI/UX design enhancements and perform CSS coding to maintain a cohesive and intuitive brand interface.Data integrity & security: Manage data integration strategies, mark sensitive personal/financial data for encryption, and ensure the overall accuracy of our platform data.Technical SOPs: Create and maintain comprehensive Technical Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), cheat sheets, and FAQs for internal and external users.Continuous enhancement: Proactively suggest and implement system upgrades to keep our marketplace at the leading edge of e-commerce technology.Candidate profileBackground: An Engineering (e.g. Industrial, Electrical, Mechanical, Chemical) background is highly preferred to support our focus on process efficiency and system architecture. All educational backgrounds will be considered.Technical skills: Experience in software development (professional or project-based) is highly preferred. Experience with CRM, E-commerce, and/or ERP integration are preferred.Mindset: A natural curiosity and a continuous enhancement mindset are essential.
