The Heavy Equipment Operator will be responsible for operating a variety of heavy machinery including dozers, excavators, loaders, and other related equipment. Core tasks include performing excavation and earthmoving activities, inspecting and maintaining equipment, ensuring workplace safety standards, and collaborating with team members to complete mining and reclamation projects efficiently. Candidates should demonstrate attention to detail and a strong commitment to safety and precision.QualificationsProficiency in Heavy Equipment and Equipment Operation, with the ability to handle excavators and loaders, dozers, water trucks and dump trucksUnderstanding and experience in Excavation and Used Equipment usageKnowledge and skills in Equipment Maintenance to ensure the ongoing functionality of machineryStrong emphasis on workplace safety and adherence to operational proceduresAbility to work in outdoor environments and adapt to varying site conditionsRelevant certifications or licenses for operating heavy machinery, where applicableExperience in mining, construction, or land reclamation is a plus***Must have a good driving record and be able to pass a drug test and background check.
