This includes 6 shift supervisors, roughly 200 hourly shift employees.\nResponsible for safety, schedule attainment, quality adherence, cost control, and continuous improvement in a dynamic environment.\nResponsible for coordinating activities between satellite facilities in the delivery of components to meet assembly schedules.\nMaintains close employee relations with “hands on” floor presence. Responsible for all employee issues, hiring, training, promotions, disciplinary actions, etc.\nContribute to the strategic planning process of developing and implementing operations strategy.\nEnsure all program team operational performance metrics are met or exceeded.\nEnsure capacity and capability are continually planned in order to meet agreed customer requirements and work and information flow are documented and regularly reviewed to ensure smooth and rapid execution of Customer requirements.\nManage individual and team performance, regularly reviewing with Process Owners/Line Leaders, rewarding excellence and the achievement or bettering of targets and taking corrective action when necessary.\nQualifications\nMinimum of BS degree in a manufacturing relevant field. Advanced education in business and continuous improvement is a plus.\n10 years experience in manufacturing management. Metal Fabrication is a plus.\nStrong leadership abilities. Ability to coach and motivate in the development of effective work teams.\nMust display excellent communication skills; effective verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.\nProven record of success in a dynamic managerial setting.\nProven experience in leadership toward continuous improvement.\nLean implementation experience is a plus.\nComputer proficiency with data manipulation, measurement tracking, cost profiles and load/capacity comparisons.
