Job Summary:The Senior QA Analyst works on a team of software developers conducting IT software testing to identify any potential quality issues and to ensure that applications meet the business requirements with highest level of QA standards. This role is responsible for conducting quality testing methodologies including: Functional, Smoke, Regression, Functional, Performance, Mobile, Negative, and Load & Performance testing.Job Duties:Reviews requirements and works with Business Analysts and Technical team to identify testable requirementsDevelops and maintains testing-related documentation, including Test Plans, Test Cases, Scripts, Test reports, and Bug reportsPerforms testing throughout the product life cycle including functional, integration, system, regression, smoke, load, and mobile testingWorks closely with Developers, Business Analysts and QA Analysts to escalate potential quality issuesLogs enhancement requests and bugs in an issue tracker with detailed steps and screenshots to recreate the issueMaintains association between defects, test cases, requirements, test case management software and traceability matricesSupervisory Responsibilities:* N/AQualifications, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Education* High School Diploma or GED, required* Bachelor's degree, preferredExperienceFour (4) or more years of experience as a Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst within IT solutions or equivalent role, requiredExperience with writing test plans and executing automated testing to include functional, smoke, regression, load, negative and mobile strategies, requiredExperience with test automation frameworks and tools, such as Selenium, JUnit, or TestNG, preferredExperience with programming languages like Java, C#, or Python to write automated tests or perform code reviews, preferredExperience with testing web technologies, APIs, and mobile application testing, preferredLicense/Certification:* N/ASoftware:One (1) or more of the following, preferred:Azure DevOps, JIRAHP Quality Center or other equivalentSQL / T-SQLSeleniumLanguage:* N/AOther Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesUnderstanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies, such as Agile or WaterfallStrong verbal and written communication skillsExcels at operating in a fast-paced technical environmentSelf-driven with the ability to work independently as well as operate efficiently in a collaborative environmentStrong analytical mindset and attention to detailAbility to work closely with cross functional teams in the organizationAbility to solve problems, identify solutions, and appropriately escalate issuesEffective communication and collaboration skills and ability to clearly articulate testing requirements, issues, and recommendations to technical and non-technical stakeholdersMeticulous attention to detail and a strong focus on ensuring the highest quality standards are maintained throughout the testing processKeywords: QA, Quality Assurance, Test Plan, Smoke, Regression, Negative, Performance, Cross Browser Testing, QA Planning, PowerPoint, Power View, Selenium, Java, Python, JUnit, HP Quality Center, Tableau, Qlik, Balsamic, JIRA, Enterprise Tester, Requirements Gathering, User Experience, User Enablement, Data Visualization, Requirements Matrix, Automated Test Scripts, White and Black Box Testing, QTP, HTML, UAT, Traceability Matrix, MobileIndividual salaries that are offered to a candidate are determined after consideration of numerous factors including but not limited to the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and geography.National Range: $95,000 - $100,000Maryland Range: $95,000 - $100,000NYC/Long Island/Westchester Range: $95,000 - $100,000
