The PD team is integral in defining products, working closely with industrial designers, hardware engineers, software engineers, and interaction designers to bring ideas to life. We value creativity and breaking down barriers. We iterate, iterate, and iterate again until it’s right. We seek passionate individuals who aren’t afraid to step outside their comfort zone.What You Might DoDesign and develop cutting-edge intelligent devicesDrive product development with our manufacturing partners; some travel abroad may be requiredBuild prototypes, test them to failure, and iterate quicklyHelp define and drive the product roadmap and timelinesEssential Qualifications5+ years mechanical design experienceExperience using 3D CAD (NX preferred) to design densely packaged electronic devices: PCBs, flexes, antennas, and batteries, etc.Strong knowledge of various materials and scalable manufacturing processesBS in Mechanical Engineering, MS a plusPreferred SkillsExperience building complex electronic productsAbility to independently manage tasks and clearly communicate issues and needsPassion for working on highly creative, fast-paced, and collaborative teams alongside industrial designers, hardware engineers, and UX designersComfortable designing slides and making presentations to the leadership teamFamiliarity with multiple product and project development disciplines, their dependencies, and how they interactDesire to work in a collaborative environment where honesty and accountability are paramountSalary: $132,000- $230,000Compensation & Benefits (Full-Time Employees)The salary range for this role is listed above.
