We work across strategy, storytelling, and execution - serving clients in sectors ranging from education and healthcare to energy, finance, real estate, nonprofit, and public affairs.THE ROLEThe Communications Coordinator supports client work across three core areas: project coordination, client support, and content development. Project CoordinationYou help keep the work moving.Support project timelines, deliverables, and internal coordinationWork with team members and external partners to ensure alignment and qualityTrack details—deadlines, revisions, approvals—so nothing slipsHelp maintain a standard of excellence across all deliverablesThis is where you learn how good work actually gets done. Client SupportYou help create structure and clarity for both the team and the client.Coordinate meetings (internal and client-facing), including agendas and notesPrepare briefs, status updates, and background materialsConduct research to inform strategy and communicationsSupport account leads in keeping clients informed, organized, and moving forwardThis is where you begin to understand how relationships are built and maintained. Content Development (Copywriting)You help shape the message.Research and draft content across formats: social media, email, web, newsletters, presentations, and moreSupport storytelling for campaigns and ongoing communicationsAssist in drafting media materials including news releases, talking points, and press kitsContribute to media relations efforts, including pitches and event supportObserve and support media interviews and training sessionsThis is where you develop your voice, and learn how words drive action.What We’re Looking ForStrong writing and communication skillsHighly organized with attention to detailCurious, coachable, and willing to learn quicklyAble to manage multiple tasks and deadlinesA collaborative mindset - you work well with others and contribute to team successInterest in communications, media, storytelling, and strategyThis role is a starting point but it is not a small one.You’ll be exposed to real work, real clients, and real expectations.
