The individual assists the Store Manager in day‑to‑day activities associated with the store and the development and training of store sales associates while ensuring company standards are met at all times.\nBenefits Paid vacation time\nPaid personal/sick time\nPaid holidays\nHealth plan offering $0 deductible option\nDental, vision and supplemental insurance plans are available\n401k plan available\nOpportunity for advancement\nResponsibilities Assist in recruiting, hiring and training individuals to provide exceptional customer service.\nCoordinate and participate in all functions and duties associated with operating a convenience store; monitor cash drawers, explain overages and shortages, complete financial bookkeeping and paperwork, and provide shift coverage when needed.\nCreate a positive work environment by motivating, encouraging and training store staff.\nImplement and enforce established daily operating procedures to ensure store and storefront are clean, well‑stocked, and organized; follow all company policies and communicate issues to upper level management.\nEnsure all merchandise is stocked and displays are attractive, priced correctly and displayed safely; communicate and perform price change requests as requested by the corporate office and understand monthly promotions and signage.\nImplement and enforce vendor policies and procedures, including timely invoice scanning.\nEnsure environmental procedures are followed and staff trained on spill response, safety and security issues and reporting procedures; work with staff to ensure incident reports are filled clearly and concisely following company protocols.\nQualifications Ability to work well individually as well as in a team environment.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills.\nExcellent customer service skills.\nAbility to work with little or no supervision.\nAbility to handle multiple projects simultaneously.\nAvailability Shifts vary by location and are established based on the business needs of the store.
