PRODUCTION MANAGER

V-Tron Electronics is looking for an experienced Production Manager to organize and oversee the manufacturing process. You will be responsible for the smooth running of all production lines and the quality of output. We expect you to be proficient in production procedures and can direct personnel towards maximum performance, setting you apart as a leader. Decision-making and problem-solving will occupy a great part of your day. If you are up for the challenge, we'd like to talk with you. Responsibilities Liaise with other managers to formulate objectives and understand requirements Organize workflow to meet customer specifications and deadlines Monitor and optimize the production schedule and resolve issues Manage and evaluate performance of production personnel Identify production personnel requirements and be involved in the hiring process Ensure manufacturing output meets quality standards Enforce health and safety precautions Report to Upper Management Requirements & Skills Proven experience as a Manufacturing/Production Manager Deep knowledge of production process management Understanding of quality standards and health & safety regulations Knowledge of employee performance evaluation and budgeting concepts Experience in reporting on key production metrics Proficient in MS Office, Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP software Outstanding listening skills and the ability to communicate effectively Excellent organizational and leadership skills Attention to detail Strong decision-making skills and a results-driven approach Production Managers are responsible for allocating production labor resources, optimizing production schedules and cost adjustments to ensure the manufacturing process runs smoothly. They track job and employee efficiency and productivity to ensure maximum daily output. Constant communication with group leaders and supervisors to ensure that jobs are running on time and within quality standards. A successful Production Manager ensures production lines run seamlessly and products are of the highest quality and when required communicate with team members. The goal for this individual should be to always remain transparent so that all activities fall within the company and customer standards. To do this, they need to have excellent communication and leadership skills. Production Manager will work with a Production Team (Group Leaders and Supervisors), keeping them engaged and collaborate to meet any quotas that need to be achieved. They may also work alongside general production line workers, keeping them on task and doing what they need to do. Closely communicate with other Managers to maintain a complete and open link of company goals.
