About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and experienced Building Engineer to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance and repair of plumbing, electrical, heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial or residential buildings. Your duties will include responding to service calls, implementing preventative measures, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the optimal performance of building systems. The role may involve overseeing multiple sites, so you must be willing to travel within the DMV area. Key Responsibilities: Perform maintenance and repair of HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems in commercial and residential buildings. Respond promptly to service calls and troubleshoot issues to ensure system efficiency. Implement preventative maintenance programs to extend the lifespan of equipment. Ensure all building systems are operating optimally and in compliance with safety regulations. Travel to various sites within the DMV area as required. Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Building Engineer, with a strong background in system maintenance and repairs. Extensive knowledge of various HVAC equipment, including the ability to perform electrical and mechanical diagnostics on systems such as rooftops, VRF systems, kitchen equipment, and control and automation systems. Degree or certifications in MEP technology, mechanical engineering, or a related field. Familiarity with building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Valid driver's license.
