We are constantly on a mission to add smart, innovative, and fun-loving team members, and are looking for a Part-Time Sales Supervisor to come join our Houston, TX retail location.Position OverviewReporting to the Store Manager, Assistant Store Manager, the Part-Time Sales Supervisor will support the retail team in all aspects of store operations including: associate management, stock disposition, merchandise displays, and especially customer relations. The Sales Supervisor is expected to bring innovation, creativity, and enthusiasm to our team. The ideal candidate is someone who has proven success in time management, high energy, attention to detail, offers outstanding customer service and possesses excellent people management skills.Primary ResponsibilitiesConsistently demonstrate Tommy John's customer first selling standards to deliver a positive customer experience and achieve daily sales goalsAct as an ambassador of our Tommy John values; lead by example and demonstrate integrity and an ability to earn trustProactively resolve escalated customer concerns in the utmost professional mannerPromote awareness and growth of Tommy John by encouraging associates to inform customers about the brand social media channels and hashtagsSupervise register sales transactions to ensure they are completed accurately and efficiently in accordance with established cash control procedures and customer service guidelinesPrepare and monitor rolling inventory and annual fiscal inventoryEnsure return merchandise is restocked to the correct product location on the sales floor; all damaged and defective merchandise is properly labeled and placed in appropriate area at the end of each shiftReflect brand style, key looks and dress code; encourages associates to update/maintain their brand representationCommunicate presentation standards and replenishment needs to ensure that the store is always customer-readyMaintain a neat, clean and organized sales floor, fitting room(s) and stockroom to ensure the store environment is safe and presentable for employees and customersCreate an environment of teamwork and collaborationQualifications, Skills, & ExperienceHigh School Diploma or higher education preferred (i.e. Bachelor's degree in Retail Merchandising, Business or related field is a plus)4 years of proven sales experience in a fashion/retail environment, with at least 1 year in a leadership roleExcellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to delegate and explain tasks effectivelyApproachable and effective listener with the ability to motivate, train and develop teamExceptional organizational + merchandising skills with the ability to drive the business through creativity and extensive fashion knowledgeAbility to stand and walk around for extended periods of time, with short breaksAbility to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidaysAbility to lift in excess of 30 poundsSome awesome Reasons to Join us at Tommy JohnTommy John Employee DiscountFlexibilityTons of SnacksGreat work environment Pay Range: $17 to $18 per hourLI-DNIPowered by JazzHR
