Brief DescriptionPurposeThe OEM account manager maintains and expands relationships with Large OEM customers and is responsible for achieving sales quota and assigned OEM account objectives.Key Responsibilities OEM Business AdvisorUnderstand and anticipate clients existing and future needs in depth and communicate this within team and organizationDevelop compelling solutions to client issues that differentiate RFP from our competitionTap into the wide resources and skills within our organization to develop solutionsBring a fresh insight to clients’ business that will help them deliver a competitive advantage within their industryDevelop joint strategies that are mutually beneficial to both companies Business ManagerManage the business by fully understanding financial and strategic planning toolsResponsibility for profit and growth of the accountResponsible for setting and delivering key business metrics; inventory turn, profit, product portfolioAllocate company resources and track accounts performance; make adjustments as necessary to achieve the planOEM accounts should be profitable accounts Relationship ManagerBuild and manage internal / external relationships involving ALL influential peopleRelate at ALL levels in the organization from the shop floor to the CEO – fully infiltrateManage the contact matrix ensuring that all potential points of contact and influence are being served appropriatelyBuild trust throughout the account, influencing R&D, manufacturing, logistics, and admin functions Team LeaderBuild and lead cross functional teams that are able to anticipate and deliver solutions to meet account requirementsMotivate and set task direction for the team members without direct hierarchical controlCommunicate the account strategy and direction effectively across the team, both within Roseburg and within the accounts organizationInvolve the team or teams in the creation of the account planMaintain team motivationBalance time between team, organization, and account requirementsInvestigate quality problems in the market and communicate issues to the appropriate party to drive resolutionModel company core valuesRequired QualificationsBachelor’s degree in businessFive (5) plus years’ technical sales experience in the building materials segmentAbility to deliver world class customer serviceAbility to work in various computer platforms (Microsoft Office applications, with an emphasis on Excel)Self-starter capable of working with minimal supervisionPositive demeanor and the ability to function within a teamAbility to multi-task in a changing, fast-paced environmentExcellent interpersonal skillsUnderstand and exhibit a sense of urgencyOutstanding listening, verbal and written communication skillsStrong self-motivation and organizational skillsA basic understanding of financial principlesA comprehensive understanding of the Roseburg product portfolio as well as our value over the competitionGood understanding of the strengths and weaknesses of our key competitorsStrong selling skills including listening, questioning techniques, identifying buying signals & negotiatingValid driver license with a safe and proven driving recordAbility and willingness to travel overnight approximately 60% of the timeMust understand and fully embrace Roseburg’s core values; “Sawdust in the Veins” (have a passion for the business and our customers), work from a “Handshake Integrity” and be “Driven to Win”Preferred QualificationsBusiness, marketing or technical degreePrevious industry-related experienceSummaryAbout Roseburg Forest ProductsFounded in 1936, Roseburg Forest Products is a privately held company based in Springfield, Oregon.
