As applicable, after-hours work may be necessary to support deployments, changes, or major incident response.\n\nThis position is based in Phoenix Arizona; Denver Colorado; or Grand Junction, Colorado and requires local residency in one of these base locations. This position will be encouraged to think and provide feedback and suggestions for development efforts.\nWork closely with Operations, QA (Quality Assurance), Implementation, and Project Management to support technical efforts throughout the SSDLC (Secure Software Development Life Cycle).\nCreate, update, and maintain documentation of coded solutions.\nVersatility and adaptability to evolving priorities in projects, products, and tasks.\nDevelop software utilizing security best practices.\nPerforms other related duties as assigned.\n\nRequired Skills & Experience\n\nUnderstanding of Object-Oriented software development using languages such as C++, C#, or Python.\nKnowledge of Object Notation Languages such as JSON, XML, BSON.\nGood analytical and troubleshooting skills.\nKnowledge of relational databases or NoSQL solutions, such as MongoDB.\nAdvanced written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to clearly communicate technical information to non-technical business users and customers.\n\nDesired Skills & Experience\n\nKnowledge of JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js or jQuery.\nUnderstanding of RESTful APIs.\n\nUnderstanding of Git Version Control (GitHub).\nKnowledge of software development methodologies such as Waterfall and Agile.\nEnjoys a collaborative environment and working as part of a team.\n\nEducation/Experience\n\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent (GED) required\nAssociates/Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or another related field, and/or technical program certificate preferred.\n\nWork Environment\n\nThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
