Position SummaryThe Crew Person is responsible and accountable for performing specific tasks and duties, as assigned, within the restaurant. This role provides each guest with a positive experience, prepares quality food products according to standards, and keeps restaurant clean, pleasant and safe for all guests and employees.Essential FunctionsMay perform any or all of the following duties:▪ Follows all Company Guest service guidelines and procedures; takes the appropriate action to ensure all Guests receive “SUPERSTAR Service”▪ Works assigned station(s) accurately and productively; cleans and stocks the station area(s); performs other cleaning duties as assigned▪ Ensures that all Guests receive hot, quality products; prepares, packages and delivers all products according to Menu Standards▪ Handles all food products according to company procedures; follows all company food safety, food handling and sanitation requirements, to ensure the health and safety of Guests and employees▪ Follows all company cash control guidelines to maintain and minimize restaurant costs; properly uses all products, supplies, equipment and facilities.▪ Demonstrates oral communication skills; communicates effectively with various contacts (internal and external)▪ Performs other duties and/or special projects as assigned in response to changing business conditions and/or requirementsPosition Qualifications/Core Competencies▪ Enrollment in high school; high school diploma or equivalent is preferable▪ Must be a minimum of 16 years of age▪ Must have reliable transportation to work▪ Must be able and willing to work flexible hours, possibly including opening and closing shifts.WORK ENVIRONMENT▪ Fast paced environment working with kitchen equipment in tight quartersPHYSICAL DEMANDS▪ Stand for long periods of time▪ Bend and stoop▪ Work around heat▪ Able to lift 50 – 75 lbs. comfortably▪ Work with various cleaning products
