You will have the opportunity to make a substantial impact on the business through your skills and contributions, utilizing your extensive technical knowledge and problem-solving methodologies to address a wide range of challenges across various technologies and applications.\nJob responsibilities:\nExecutes creative software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problems.\nDevelops secure and high-quality production code, and reviews and debugs code written by others\nIdentifies opportunities to eliminate or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve overall operational stability of software applications and systems\nLeads communities of practice across Software Engineering to drive awareness and use of new and leading-edge technologies.\nAdds to team culture of diversity, equity, inclusion, and respect\nDemonstrated proficiency in automation and continuous delivery methods.\nProvides Support in automating deployments through production release cycles and provide troubleshooting for L3 support work.\nInteract with front and middle office teams and other business users in providing support/solutions for client queries or productions incidents.\nAnalyze production issues and document RCA and issue-corrective actions in line with LOB standards\nRequired qualifications, capabilities, and skills:\nFormal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 5+ years applied experience\nHands-on practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability.\nAdvanced in one or more programming language(s) – Java/Microservices\nExperience in Rest UI and other JavaScript framework is required.\nExperience in Oracle SQL or other RDMS is required.\nIn-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and their IT systems\nPractical cloud native experience\nPreferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:\nExpert experience with design, development, deployment, and support of large-scale applications in a mission-critical production environment\nStrong hands on experience in Microservices, RESTful webservices development in Java (Spring Boot or equivalent framework)\nExperience with Message broker platforms (Kafka is a plus)\nIn depth knowledge of Cloud Native Architecture (AWS Experience is a plus), Microservice Architecture and related stacks, and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)\nABOUT US\n\nJPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world’s most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
