The position will include electrical power design and industrial controls for heavy industrial and manufacturing projects for clients in the various industries we serve.\n\nResponsibilities\n\nDevelop electrical and controls designs and details\n\nPerform field investigation of existing conditions\n\nPerform electrical calculations for permitting and client review\n\nComplete arc flash and power coordination studies\n\nWork with designers and drafters to produce industrial electrical systems documentation including 3D modeling, one-line drawings, grounding drawings, wiring drawings, conduit and cable tray routing, conduit and cable tray supports, electrical specifications, instrument lists, and motor lists\n\nExperience & Skills\n\n5+ years of relevant experience in electrical engineering ( industrial experience required )\n\nExperience doing arc flash and/or short circuit studies on power systems desired\n\nExperience with industrial controls and programming is highly desired\n\nAbility to scope electrical projects, write proposals, and manage electrical projects including budget, schedule, resources, and client interface\n\nEducation and Licensure Requirements\n\nProfessional Engineering license in at least one U.S. state with the ability to obtain licensure in other states\n\nBachelor's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited college or university\n\nWhy Join Us\nEnjoy a flexible schedule (including half-day Fridays) and a full benefits package with medical, dental, vision, 401K, PTO, annual bonuses, and profit-sharing.
