(HYBRID Position)\nPLEASE NOTE- LOCAL candidates preferred or located around MD/DC/VA/DE/PA/NJ areas.\nDescription:\nThe LEAD Engineer will lead in the delivery and maintenance of mission-critical applications and services that support city government initiatives. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance applications and will play a key role in driving our software initiatives forward. In addition, the LEAD Engineer must have implementing, customizing, and supporting popular Government Saas applications such as, but not limited to, Accela and OpenGov.\nPrimary responsibilities may include but are not limited to the following:\n\nDesign and Development: Lead the design and development of robust, scalable, and maintainable .NET applications.\nCode Quality: Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code. Conduct code reviews and mentor junior developers.\nRequirements Analysis: Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to understand and refine requirements.\nTechnical Leadership: Provide technical guidance and leadership to the development team, ensuring best practices are followed.\nProblem Solving: Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues and bugs in a timely manner.\nPerformance Optimization: optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.\nIntegration: Develop and maintain integrations with third-party systems and APIs.\nContinuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies and continuously improve development processes and standards.\nTechnical Skills:\n\nDeep C#/VB.NET/HTML/CSS/JavaScript/ASP.NET/Blazor and Database Transactional and Decision Support language experience.\nExperience with RESTful API development and microservices architecture.\nDeep experience with Microsoft SQL Server (SSMS, SSAS, SSIS, RS, etc...)\nKnowledge of cloud platforms such as Microsoft Azure.\nDeep Experience with version control systems like Git as well as CI/CD processes.\nDemonstrated knowledge of popular SDLC models, process, deliverables, and applications.\nDeep conceptual grasp of popular design patterns for object-oriented software development.\nExperience with BI Reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and the like.\nDeep experience with Microsoft Development Platforms and tools (Visual Studio, Visual Studio Code, etc.)\nMinimum Education and Experience Requirements\n\nBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
