The successful candidate will have comprehensive technical expertise to support ongoing development, maintenance, enhancement, and operational services for enterprise systems using the technologies described in this position description.\nThe position is Non-Exempt (hourly), Full Time (40 hours per week), Monday through Friday. This role supports the Government and requires successfully passing a Background Check and Drug Screening. Candidates must be able to obtain a Level 5 public trust clearance.\nCandidates must be local to Reston, VA. This position will work in hybrid capacity but must be able to commute to the office when necessary.\n\nSupervisory Responsibilities:\n\nNone.\nDuties/Responsibilities:\nWork at the direction of Lead/Senior Developers\nCommunicate effectively with other team members and Government Personnel\nCollaborate with other developers and Government Personnel to identify and complete tasks effectively and efficiently\nFollow development processes, methods, and standards; provide documentation as requested/required\nWork within a Government office setting\nProvide excellent customer service\nRequired Skills/Abilities:\nMinimum of 3+ years of documented experience in relevant areas\nExperience with the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)\nFull Stack Development experience with front-end, back-end, and database capabilities\nProficiency in C# (.NET), Angular, and Microsoft SQL Server is preferred\nKnowledge of server-side web application development with ASP.NET and similar technologies\nExperience in client-side programming with HTML, JavaScript, and CSS\nExperience with Web Service programming\nKnowledge of database programming with .NET Entity Framework, SQL Server, and T-SQL\nStrong understanding of relational database concepts; capable of writing stored procedures, creating, and editing tables\nFamiliarity with version control practices and tools, including Git; must be comfortable checking in code, working in branches, and handling merge conflicts\nFamiliarity with security practices, including authentication mechanisms such as Windows Authentication, NTLM, Kerberos, Certificates, and Public Key Infrastructure (PKI)\nAbility to work in a collaborative environment, adapt to changing requirements, and contribute effectively to a development team\nExcellent writing, organizational skills, and attention to detail\nProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software\nEducation and Experience:\nMinimum 3+ years of documented experience in all areas identified in Required Skills/Abilities\nA 4-year degree in computer science or commensurate experience is required\nPhysical Requirements:\nThe physical demands described here represent those required to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.\nSpecific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment\nThe employee may occasionally lift and/or move more than 25 pounds\nEmployee will sit for several hours each day but will also need mobility to stand, type, and walk for periods\nOccasionally required to stand, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl\nRegular use of hands for typing, handling, or feeling; reach with hands and arms; and ability to talk or hear\n\nWork Environment:\nThe work environment characteristics described here are typical of an office setting, with moderate noise levels.\n\nBenefits: Our benefits package can include 17 days per year of Paid Time Off, 11 Paid Holidays, company-paid Life/AD&D at $50,000, Short-Term and Long-Term Disability, Medical Insurance with Company Contribution up to 90% for employees, and a 401k Plan with up to 5% company match.
