We’re always on the lookout for smart people who are committed to continuous improvement, customer service and quality.\n\nJOB DESCRIPTION\n\nJOB TITLE: Admin Assistant (Engineering, Programs) FLSA STATUS: Non Exempt\n\nREPORTS TO: Corp Eng - Chief Engineer\n\nSUMMARY\nThis is a responsible position requiring initiation, administration and follow-up of KBPD activity on assigned engineering projects, as well as the items listed below.\n\nRESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES\n\nUnder general supervision, responsibilities include but are not limited to:\nEC creation, logging and tracking to completion of workflow\nMaintain documentation on various program activity (open issues, program PO’s, program financial document reviews, etc.)\nCreate appearance approval document, track changes and distribute to team members.\nIn conjunction with the Project Engineer or Program Manager, generate RFQ\ndocuments for all changes that impact tooling and/or product pricing. Track the\nprogram’s budget.\n\nComplete and generate KRAs for the employees within the specific engineering group based on information gathered from Gate Reviews, Financial Reports, etc.\nReview and track updates on all Sales Orders for the program. Generate Purchase\nOrders, secondary tooling, gaging, sample material, etc. based on funding from\nthe Sales Order.\n\nMaintain the Programs Milestones, working with Program Managers to update milestone dates each month.\nMaintain and update workplans throughout the program at the direction of the Program Manager. Participate in program reviews internally and with OEMs\nPrepare and update monthly reports, tooling invoices. (TIRs/Milestones/KRAs)\nMaintain build area inventory.\nMaintain and update bump charts and part number lists for assigned programs.\nTrack, maintain and facilitate communications for Tech Center and Plant pre-production orders for assigned programs.\nWork with PE’s or Plant Customer Service Coordinatores to prepare and ship pre-production orders.\nWork with Finance to review monthly financial reports to maintain accurate Program and Group data\nCreate and maintain asset lists and related documentation for the life of the program.
