The ideal candidate will have strong oil & gas accounting experience and be highly proficient in Sage 100.\n\n*Duties*\n\n* Manage day-to-day accounting operations and general ledger\n* Perform monthly and year-end closing procedures\n* Prepare and review monthly financial statements\n* Reconcile bank, credit card, and balance-sheet accounts\n* Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable\n* Monitor cash flow and prepare cash-flow reports\n* Prepare financial reports and management summaries\n* Review expenses and identify discrepancies or unusual activity\n* Maintain accurate records in Sage 100\n* Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis\n* Coordinate with outside CPA/accounting professionals for tax and year-end requirements\n* Maintain appropriate accounting procedures and internal controls\n* Support management with financial information and accounting guidance.\n\n_This is a flexible part-time schedule that provides an opportunity to work with an established oil & gas company.
