Description of Responsibilities Conduct diverse ultrasound examinations, including abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging. Prioritize patient comfort and safety during the scanning process, offering clear explanations and compassionate care. Team up with radiologists and referring physicians to deliver top-tier diagnostic images. Efficiently operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, addressing any technical issues as they arise. Education Requirements Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline. Preferred completion of a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program. Certifications Required Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred.
