What You'll DoSafely operate a forklift, centering loads, maintaining visibility, and following work area speed limitsRegularly load and/or assist in loading trailers with materials, following prescribed weight distributions and capacity limitsCorrectly pick orders to build pallets for deliveryComplete and maintain records as required by the company and government regulationsObtain receipts and signatures as requiredPick up and deliver product to customers as needed in a courteous and professional mannerFollow freight handling specificationsActively follow safety procedures for different types of equipment, wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) as requiredAccurately count products to maintain up‑to‑date inventory records; report any discrepancies to the assigned leader in a timely mannerAt shift end, store equipment in designated areas and take appropriate steps to prepare equipment for next‑day operationPrepare shipping papers and delivery tickets for company deliveries and outbound LTL shipmentsSchedule LTL carrier pickups as neededCorrectly match purchase orders or product requests with inbound shipments and receive new product into inventoryCorrectly match customer orders to delivery ticketsPerform other duties and assignments to meet operational needs of the businessWhat You'll BringHigh School diploma or equivalent required; experience may be considered in lieu of educationHazmat and tanker endorsement requiredA minimum of 3 years of driving experienceMust meet Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and medical requirementsSkilled in documenting mileage and service hours in accordance with DOT log regulationsComprehensive knowledge of conducting vehicle inspectionsAn engaged safety-first mindset, committing to safe work practices through Key Daily ActionsFollow through on assigned tasks from start to finishAccountability to team with dependable attendance and completing share of workloadAttention to detail when completing paperwork for inventory check ins and check outsCollaboration with team members in completing daily warehouse housekeeping tasksAbility to move 50 – 60 pounds, frequently stoop and bend at the kneesPrevious experience with SAP software is a bonus, but not requiredReady to make an impact with us?
