A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Conduct and lead safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments; issue compliance reports to managers, and (ii) Investigate incidents and near misses; identify root causes, issue recommendations, and maintain recordable and non-recordable incident records in accordance with OSHA and CG Global EHS requirements.\n\nJob Responsibilities:\n\nConduct and lead safety inspections, audits, and risk assessments; issue compliance reports to managers\nInvestigate incidents and near misses; identify root causes, issue recommendations, and maintain recordable and non-recordable incident records in accordance with OSHA and CG Global EHS requirements\nDevelop and deliver safety training programs including Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and Inspection Plan (IP) team guidance; maintain updated team member lists\nMaintain regulatory compliance documentation and reporting in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local EHS regulations\nSupport implementation of EHS programs including LOTO, machine guarding, ergonomics, and contractor safety\nConduct ergonomic evaluations with manufacturing engineers and propose designs to meet ergonomic criteria\nAnalyze safety metrics, identify trends, and publish occupational health and safety performance data for facility leadership\nCoordinate with operations to implement hazard controls and support capital projects with EHS design input\nParticipate in environmental compliance activities including air, waste, and water programs\nLead the Safety Committee including meeting schedules, agendas, and employee engagement activities\nSupport end-to-end workers' compensation claims process including incident investigation, root-cause analysis, recordkeeping, and return-to-work programs\nComply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.\nProtect Chamberlain Group’s reputation by keeping information confidential.\nMaintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.\nContribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.\n\nJob Requirements:\n\nBachelor's degree in Engineering, Environmental Health & Safety, or related field\n3+ years of experience with an emphasis in environmental, health and safety program management\n\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\n\nWorking knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local standards and regulations on Health, Safety, and Environmental protection\nWorking knowledge of chemical testing and analyzing equipment\nWorking knowledge of manufacturing technologies and processes\nWorking knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and related applications\n\nPreferred Job Requirements:\n\nBachelor's Degree in Industrial, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering\nEHS experience in an approved Safe Industry program\nExperience in a manufacturing or industrial environment\n\nKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:\n\nISO 14001 / ISO 45001 experience\nBasic knowledge of SAP\nBasic knowledge of work environment measurement equipment\n\nOther:\n\nOSHA 30-Hour General Industry\nThe pay range for this position is $60,400.00 - $97,525.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
