We are hiring an Entry Level Pharmacy Technician // Late Shift, Rotating Weekends!!Job DescriptionThe Pharmacy Technician supports the pharmacist in providing safe, effective, and timely pharmaceutical care. This role is responsible for assisting with medication preparation and dispensing, maintaining inventory, managing administrative tasks, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced healthcare setting.Key ResponsibilitiesAssist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately and efficientlyProcess prescription orders, including data entry and insurance verificationMeasure, package, label, and organize medications according to established protocolsMaintain accurate patient and medication records in pharmacy systemsProvide exceptional customer service by assisting patients with inquiries and directing questions to the pharmacist when appropriateManage inventory by stocking shelves, monitoring expiration dates, and ordering supplies as neededEnsure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, as well as company policiesSupport pharmacy workflow by prioritizing tasks and maintaining an organized work environmentAssist with billing, copay collection, and prior authorization processes as requiredEssential SkillsRegistered Pharmacy Technician in FL.Minimum of 6 months experience as a pharmacy technician.Strong customer service skills.High school diploma.Work Environment* This position is located onsite in a closed-door pharmacy. The working hours are Monday through Friday, from 5:30pm-1am and every other weekend from 9am-7:30pm.Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sunrise, FL.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
