Laundromat Attendant

Job Overview: We are a busy, smaller laundromat seeking a dedicated Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service in a hospitality setting. Duties: - Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner - Handle cash transactions using a cash register - Process Wash and Fold orders by taking order, washing, drying, bagging and folding clothing. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the designated area - Ability to be productive while working unsupervised - Handle basic math calculations for cash handling purposes Qualifications: - Previous experience in customer service, preferably in a hotel or hospitality environment - Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a cash register - Knowledge of basic math for accurate transactions - Experience with dry cleaning or laundry services is a plus - Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where customer service is paramount. The opportunity for more hours during the weekend and the week will be made available once candidate shows interest and ability to operate the store. The position requires someone who can work unsupervised. After training the employee will be mostly be working alone in the store.
