These would be documented in CAD, CAD Electrical, and/or Solidworks Electrical\n§ Provide the programming for the PLC and HMI\n§ Purchasing of components\n§ Active involvement in scheduling and planning team meetings with contractors, consultants, plant personnel, and management to deliver on time.\n* Train plant personnel on operation, maintenance and use of equipment.\n* Maintain project documentation and assist in creating Machine Operation Manuals\n* Assist with the shop to help fabricate the panels, etc.\n* Assist in product design and architecture development\n* Design, develop and maintain software systems to satisfy documented software requirements\n* Investigate and analyze reported software defects to resolve them in a timely manner.\n* Proactively provide status, raise issues, and communicate necessary information to appropriate team members on a regular basis\n* Prepare, present, and participate in technical discussions and code review\n* Contribute to the continued development of processes to improve the efficiency and quality of development projects; assist in formulating standards and development practices to improve the software development process\n* Make recommendations and assist in the implementation of new processes and tools\n* Consult with hardware engineers and other engineering staff to evaluate interfaces between hardware & software and operational & performance requirements of the overall system\n* Manage the software build process and manage all software releases\n* Other tasks as deemed necessary and within skillset\nJob Requirements\nMinimum Security Clearance:\nNo Clearance\nDetails:\nQualified candidates would have the following:\nEducation: Bachelor's degree from an accredited four-year college or university\nCFIUS and MRPT Clearance required (US Citizen or green card only, with no background issues)\nManager notes and targets:\nExperience with automation and PLC software integration - IMPORTANT\nHighly analytical - - six sigma certification - DESIRED\nVision systems - A PLUS\n5-7 year experience REQUIRED\nWill be training on machines they are designing/building\n======================================================================================\n* 5+ years of software development experience with demonstrable experience and fundamental understanding of :\n* Beckhoff twin cat 3 and twin cat 2, Cognex - insight explorer, Visual studio- C#,\nData base- Sequel Server Management Studio, VIP plus - Yamaha robot.\nRSX studio for new Yamahas, Keyence - XGX Vision editor and Vision Terminal, Notepad ++\n* SolidWorks and AutoCAD experience a plus\n* Working skills in multiple SW languages, Op Systems and development processes\n* Demonstrated capabilities for incorporating relational database management systems (MS SQL, Oracle, etc.) into software applications\n* Strong understanding of software development processes, principles and objectives\n* Knowledge of source code management and configuration\n* Experience in development through the entire life-cycle including design, architecture, and implementation.\n* Excellent analytical skills and ability to act in an entrepreneurial manner to ensure that the software delivered matches the needs of the opportunity.\n* Proven analytical, planning, problem solving and decision-making skills\n* Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both a technical and non-technical audience; comfortable with direct communication with all levels of technical and business resources.\n*Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously\n* Interested in the challenge, excitement, and responsibility of a fast-paced, growth environment;
