This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to mission-driven work within a highly regulated and impactful industry.Job DescriptionThe Application Developer (Node.js / Java / AWS) will support and enhance existing enterprise applications, with a focus on Node.js and Java development, application upgrades, monitoring, incident resolution, data maintenance, and release management (including code reviews). This role works closely with technical staff, business partners, and vendors to analyze, design, and deliver technology solutions that meet complex business needs.ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with technical staff to understand and resolve unique or complex software problems involving broad scope and varied factors.Perform estimations, design, development, and delivery of code.Manage releases and conduct code reviews to ensure quality and consistency.Advocate for and promote the use of cloud technologies and CI/CD practices across IT.Partner with vendors, business stakeholders, and other technology teams to analyze, design, and deliver solutions.Apply quality-enhancing practices such as code reviews, automated testing, and continuous integration.Work within Agile and other development methodologies.Provide ongoing system and programming support for existing applications.QualificationsRequired Qualifications:Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience in software development, application support, systems integration, or a related technical role.Hands-on experience with data formats including JSON, XML, and CSV.Experience with integration technologies such as REST APIs and web services.Proficiency in programming and development technologies including Node.js, Java, SQL, and Stored Procedures.Experience working with infrastructure technologies including Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server.Experience working within the health insurance or healthcare industry.Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.Experience supporting and maintaining enterprise integrations and data workflows.Ability to work effectively in Agile and cross-functional team environments.Self-motivated with a focus on delivering reliable, scalable, and high-quality solutions.Experience with development and support tools such as Jira, GitLab, and Postman.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.Hands-on experience with AWS Glue, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines.Familiarity with enterprise tools such as MoveIt, Stonebranch, CyberArk, and TeamDynamix (TDX).Prior experience supporting large-scale enterprise applications in a regulated industry.BenefitsDahl Consulting is proud to offer a comprehensive benefits package to eligible employees that will allow you to choose the best coverage to meet your family’s needs.
