We are currently seeking a System Admin Sr. Specialist Advisor to join our team in the US.\n\nThis role requires someone at a senior level of mainframe DB2 support. The individual will work closely with the mainframe accounts, our partner, and customers.\nWhat you'll be doing\nKey Responsibilities:\nPerform technical reviews of proposed changes to the NTT environment\nProvide technical expertise during high severity incidents\nReview Technical Support incidents on a regular basis for completeness and prevention\nProvide thought leadership as it relates to in-house suggested improvements, as well as reviewing our 3rd party’s recommendations\nParticipate in all Mainframe related projects (upgrades, migrations, etc.)\nProvide technical support to the NTT Security Team.\nMaintain BCDR documentation for the Mainframe platforms\n\nKnowledge and Attributes:\nAdvanced problem determination skills\nMainframe processor and storage hardware knowledge\nMainframe disaster recovery expertise\nMainframe data backup/replication skills\nKnowledgeable TCP/IP architecture and communications hardware\nSMS pool setup and management experience\nExperience with performance analysis and performance problem determination skills\nIn depth knowledge of systems architecture, internal processes, and interdependencies\nExcellent customer-facing skills. (At a technical and layman’s level).\nProficiency in supporting z/OS, JES2, CICS or RACF is a plus\n\nAcademic Qualifications and Certifications:\nTypically requires 10+ years relevant experience.\nUndergraduate/bachelor’s degree\n\nRequired Experience:\nRequires 10+ years’ experience/proficiency with Mainframe DB2 Systems software\nExperience installing DB2 using SMP/E\nInstallation, customization, testing, and maintenance for DB2\nInstallation, customization, testing, and maintenance for IBM/ISV program products\nOutstanding written and verbal communication skills\nProject management experience and leadership skills\nRequires 10 years of experience in DB2 performance and tuning\nWorkplace type:\nRemote Working\nAbout NTT DATA\nNTT DATA is a $30+ billion trusted global innovator of business and technology services.
