Spartanburg is a beautiful town located about 30 mins east of Greenville, SC. You'll enjoy access to scenic mountains, beautiful beaches, and vibrant nearby cities such as Atlanta and Charlotte. After your initial learning assignment in Spartanburg, SC (12-18 months) your career plan will include an international expatiation to Nova Scotia, Canada (or Europe) in an Operations Manager role serving on the Plant Leadership Team.\r\nWhat will you do\r\n\r\nLead the collective performance of your Team in support of the manufacturing site's overall performance objectives.\r\nDevelop your Team, Peers, and other Leaders in the organization to answer business needs.\r\nEffectively lead multi-functional and complementary teams in maintenance, reliability, quality, and progress to meet annual performance goals.\r\nMonitor the short and long-term personnel needs of the facility to ensure succession needs are met and employees are afforded opportunities for development and career growth.\r\nDrive performance and progress in your area of responsibility.\r\nServe as a truly cross functional leader with the capacity to bring Team's together to meet ambitious goals.\r\nBe a constant and effective communicator to the plant leadership, your Team and the outside community.\r\n\r\nWhat you will bring\r\n\r\nBS degree in a technical field preferred. Master's degree in business preferred.\r\n8+ years of overall experience, preferred in a process centered manufacturing environment as well as 6+ years of growing management/leadership responsibility or applicable military experiences.\r\nStrong history of successfully managing large teams or units.\r\nOutstanding Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and influence others.\r\nStrong oral and written communication skills; ability to communicate throughout all levels of the company.\r\nDemonstrated ability to achieve goals using organization change principles.\r\nGeographically mobile to most Michelin US sites and open to future international assignments.
