{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"92f0b25438f03201d554293f","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/92f0b25438f03201d554293f","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/92f0b25438f03201d554293f","title":"Constructability Coordinator","description":"Job Title: Constructability Coordinator\nLocation: Birmingham, Alabama\nType: 12 month Contract\nCompensation: $45.00 per hour\nContractor Work Model: Onsite – onsite\n\nResponsibilities\nParticipate as a member of project teams to develop project scope, project cost estimate, project schedule\nParticipate on site field / scope visits\nAssist others in developing schedule including critical paths\nDevelop detailed construction plans and identify outage requirements to implement new facilities\nIdentify required permits, & develop detailed estimates\nWork with Utility Company major accounts group regarding outages that affect external/internal customers\nDevelop construction contract bid packages; review responses and participate in vendor selection\nConduct pre-bid meeting with contractors\nParticipate in design constructability reviews for all disciplines (site, foundation, electrical & relay, T-Line) to identify and eliminate costly expenses during the construction phase\nPerform quality assurance checks during construction\nMonitor schedule and progress versus requested in service date\nResponsible for closeout of construction contracts and as-built documentation\nMonitor that all Utility Company procedures and processes are followed so that we will comply with all regulatory requirements\n\nRequirements\n10+ Years experience in heavy industrial or commercial construction plus a 4-year degree in a related field\nSelf-starter, proactive with effective communication skills\nAdequate knowledge of OSHA and applicable environmental regulations\nExtensive knowledge of construction standard practices, techniques, quality requirements, applicable codes and standards\nWorking knowledge of construction contracts and labor agreements\nAbility to interface with contractors, designers, vendors and other parties connected with the project\nWorking knowledge of rigging and lifting methods\n\nSystem One, and its subsidiaries including Joulé and Mountain Ltd., are leaders in delivering outsourced services and workforce solutions across North America.
