Valence Surface Technologies is required to verify that applicants meet ITAR requirements prior to employment for this role.\n\nEssential Functions\n\nDesign and implement surface finishing processes (e.g., anodizing, plating, coating) for various materials.\n\nConduct practical demonstrations and trials of finishing techniques at customer or production sites.\n\nMonitor and adjust finishing processes to ensure consistency, quality, and compliance with specifications.\n\nCollaborate with design, manufacturing, and quality teams to meet product requirements.\n\nEvaluate supplier capabilities and support process improvements to close production gaps.\n\nMaintain and calibrate finishing equipment and ensure adherence to environmental and safety standards.\n\nDocument process parameters and results for quality control and continuous improvement.\n\nProvide technical support and training to internal teams and external partners.\n\nTravel to customer or manufacturing sites as needed.\n\nQualifications\n\nBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Chemistry, Materials Science, or a related field required.\n\nMinimum 5 years of experience in surface finishing operations such as anodizing, plating or etching, aerospace preferred.\n\nEqual Opportunity Employer.
