CRMS has been implementing a Project Based Learning model of curriculum and instruction and values students’ active engagement in the learning process.Position SummaryFive Town CSD & MSAD #28 are now hiring year-round Custodians for our schools. The normal work schedule for these positions is 3 PM to 11:30 PM. Successful candidates will be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekend rotation, and be willing to adapt to different assignments from day to day.Key ResponsibilitiesMaintain a clean, safe, and functional environment within the school buildings and grounds, including but not limited to:General floor care and cleaning,Restroom maintenance, including sanitizing and stocking,Waste management,Window/Wall cleaning.Perform minor repairs to ensure the proper functioning of building systems.Aid in set-up for special events.Ensure clean school grounds, including litter removal.Aid with snow/ice removal as needed. Qualifications/SkillsKnowledge of safety procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power machinery.Ability to perform a wide range of cleaning duties.Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and other staff.Time management and prioritization skills.Strong attention to detail.Dexterity in problem-solving. RequirementsBackground check, including fingerprinting.Maine Department of Education CHRC Approval.
