Qualified candidates must be enrolled at an accredited college or university for Fall term 2024.What you can expect as an Athene Intern:Professional developmentSocial eventsNetworking eventsVolunteer opportunitiesCommunity involvementCollaboration with other internsPaid housing option (if eligible)Internships will run from mid-May to early AugustThese are in-office internships at our West Des Moines located at 7700 Mills Civic Parkway.Accountabilities:Aid in monitoring social advocacy platform and Athene’s social channels, including content scheduling and calendaring, and provide administrative system support as needed Build social marketing strategies with tactics for both stand alone and integrated marketing campaigns Help direct the creation of and review social copy and imagery to ensure consistent social media personality, voice and messaging for all content creation. Assist with tracking and reporting of social media content and campaign metrics to assess against goals Assist social media team in identifying new opportunities for platforms, enhancements and/or additional partnerships Assist with paid social assets and plans, as applicable Other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Experience:Currently enrolled in higher education with a major in Marketing, Journalism or related field Superior communication skills, both written and oral Strong attention to detail and excellent organization skills Proficiency in using or desire to learn various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Linkedin, YouTube Avid learner, with desire to continually seek out trends and disruptors in social engagement, community collaboration, digital marketing/digital channels, data usage and technology innovation.
