{"schemaVersion":"jobsearcher.job.v1","id":"92c5cc44f2a1c0e6d6d1da2f","url":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/92c5cc44f2a1c0e6d6d1da2f","canonicalUrl":"https://jobsearcher.com/jobs/92c5cc44f2a1c0e6d6d1da2f","title":"Continuous Improvement Engineer","description":"Main Responsibilities:\nResponsible for implementing projects to improve key processes with high impact on savings and efficiency improvements in the company.\nEstablish measurement systems and data collection plans to ensure reliable, actionable performance data is available.\nEvaluate process flows, material handling, and facility layout for waste elimination and ergonomic improvement opportunities.\nTrack, validate, and report CI project results including cost savings, productivity improvements, quality gains, and safety enhancements.\nAudit processes and take actions to improve them.\nDevelop strategies or projects aim increasing the overall equipment efficiency.\nDrive a culture of accountability, operational excellence, and continuous improvement on the shop floor.\nPerform advanced Root Cause Analysis using methodologies such as 5 Whys, Fishbone, FMEA, Pareto, and DMAIC.\nApply Six Sigma DMAIC methodology to resolve chronic quality problems and process capability issues.\nOther duties as assigned.\nQualifications:\nHigh school diploma or GED required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred (Industrial Engineering, Business, Operations, Quality, or related field).\n2+ years of experience in manufacturing/industrial operations with demonstrated continuous improvement involvement (steel/metals manufacturing preferred).\nWorking knowledge of Lean principles and problem-solving tools (A3, 5-Why, 8D, Fishbone, basic statistics).\nProficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); ability to build trackers, charts, and presentations for leadership and shop-floor teams.\nStrong facilitation, communication, and organizational skills; ability to influence without authority and work effectively across departments.\nLean certification (Yellow/Green Belt) or equivalent training is preferred.\n\nAxis Pipe and Tube LLC,\nSAFETY & QUALITY ARE OUR COMMITMENT\nAxis Pipe and Tube is committed to helping our partners in the oil and gas industry achieve superior results.
