Electronics Assemblers are responsible for making sure a Gibson sounds like it should. Assemblers should be intimately familiar with wiring, soldering, and electrical panels. This position is a critical step in creating an instrument that is playable.\n\nEssential Functions\nLearn and execute standard operating procedures\nMust be able to sit all day and use fine motor skills\n95% pass rate based on production requirements\nUnderstands and meets quality standards (Specs.)\nMaintains product flow at appropriate rate\nAdheres to department protocols (5S and Safety)\nAdherence to the Gibson Cardinal Safety Rules as per the Gibson Playbook for Cardinal Safety Rules and General Safety Rules.\nObligation to submit safety observations for identified hazards using the safety observation QR code.\nSupport the comprehensive Safety Management System (SMS) to ensure a safe work environment, maintain compliance with regulations, and improvement of our safety processes.\nOther duties as assigned.\n\nRequired Skills/Abilities\nStrong knowledge of soldering and blueprints.\nStrong attention to detail.\nOutstanding time management skillset with the ability to prioritize without direct supervision.\nTeamwork and project management skills combined with ability to work as part of a team.\nFlexibility to adapt quickly to changing circumstances. Able to proactively question and challenge to prioritize and identify solutions in timely manner.\n\nRequired Education and Experience\nResults oriented and driven, with a track record for delivering to plan.\nMust be 18 years of age or older\n\nEssential Knowledge\nExcellent written and oral communication skills.\nProject management skills combined with ability to work as part of a team\n\nPersonal Qualities\nPassionate about working and winning in a team environment.\nResults oriented and driven, with a track record for delivering to plan\nFlexibility to adapt quickly to changing circumstances.
