Job Title: Quality Engineering ManagerLocation: San Jose, CAPay Range (Market): $120,000 – $160,000/yearRole OverviewWe are seeking an experienced Quality Engineering Manager to lead product quality initiatives and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. This role serves as the primary quality interface with customers, driving resolution of quality issues and strengthening confidence in product performance.You will work cross-functionally with engineering, manufacturing, and supply chain teams, while directly engaging with customers on technical quality matters. This is a high-impact leadership role requiring strong semiconductor expertise, problem-solving ability, and customer-facing experience.Key ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and develop the Quality Engineering teamDrive initiatives to improve product quality across the portfolioAct as the primary customer interface for all quality-related mattersCollaborate with:Failure AnalysisTest EngineeringProduct EngineeringField SalesLead root cause investigations and drive corrective/preventive actionsOwn and deliver 8D reports for customer issuesImplement and sustain process and system-level quality improvementsManage customer notifications related to product or process changesSupport and lead customer audits and quality reviewsTravel globally to support customer engagements as neededRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field10+ years of experience in customer quality engineering (semiconductors)Strong expertise in:8D problem-solving methodologySemiconductor products and manufacturing processesProven customer-facing experience in a quality leadership roleExcellent technical writing skills (clear, concise reporting)Strong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to travel globally as requiredPreferred QualificationsAbility to communicate in Mandarin (verbal and written)What We're Looking ForStrong leadership and team management skillsAbility to drive cross-functional collaborationHigh attention to detail and accountabilityStrong analytical and problem-solving mindsetCustomer-focused approach with excellent stakeholder management
